Shop History
In 1991 Bob was managing
the local Radio Shack & doing side jobs out of his dad's garage.
I hired Bob to do some work on my Buick. We hit it off immediately;
He was the older brother I never had. I was working 3rd shift
at a local Printing company at the time. Bob had been considering
opening his own store for some time since he had been at The Shack.
They didn't offer any installation service & he saw the need
for it. Evidently I was the missing piece. In the early days Bob
taught me the basics. I became a fast study & together we
built a solid reputation.
Now keep in mind this was in late 1992. I was fresh out of high
school. Bob was married, his first daughter was only 3 & we
didn't exactly have any real capital or even a business plan.
" Hey lets start a car stereo shop." Yeah…Great
idea!
It's now January 2007 as I write this. I never thought we would
have made it this far. It has not been easy by any stretch of
the imagination. Actually it's been a up hill battle since day
one. This web site is here to document & illustrate what,
$1000,a lot of hard work gets you!
